Vitamin C has a pronounced anti-stress effect, improves performance and reduces fatigue. By strengthening the walls of blood vessels, this substance helps maintain visual acuity. It can be obtained from citrus fruits, apples, cranberries, black currants. 

Group B vitamins that have a beneficial effect on the eyes

In addition to the vitamins already mentioned, the organs of vision need riboflavin, thiamine, pyridoxine and cyancobalamin. These are B vitamins , which play an important role in the process of restoring visual acuity.    

It is possible to fill the body’s need for vitamin B1 by including eggs and dairy products in the diet, while B2 is found in sunflower seeds and green vegetables. The latter protects the eyes from the negative effects of sunlight.

To reduce eye fatigue, you should diversify your diet with foods containing vitamin B6: fish, meat, vegetables, milk and eggs. An equally important role is played by vitamin B12, which improves the functioning of the circulatory system. It can be obtained from eggs and liver, meat and milk.

It is advisable that the diet contains not only the listed vitamins, but also other beneficial substances. In particular, it is recommended to focus on potassium and calcium, consuming more milk, apples, honey and strawberries.
